A few pics from July

All picture taking in July appeared to stop the day before my Latin class began... hmm... But we got a few good shots in that first week or so of July...

One of Kev's fabulous groomsman, Matt, is married to a marvelous woman named Jenn. Jenn has just graduated with a Ph.D. in choral conducting and has been hired to teach at a university in Kentucky just up the road from us. They were here househunting in early July and we met up with them. Somehow we didn't get any pictures of them, but... they know how to host a toddler! We met at a mall at which there was a carousel! Score! Caroline loves carousels- much like her mommy did, but without the perk of living in a city full of free carousels! After letting her run a bit at the mall, we went to dinner, and then to the housing development where they had just signed a lease that day. There was a playground there at which Caroline had a blast. We then went out for ice cream! A perfect little get away with great friends. We look forward to more such visits in the future!

One of the most notable things about July was three long Mondays with Ethan and Fiona while their mommy was teaching nursing school boot camp at an area hospital. Kev was a wee bit busy entertaining three under-fives on 12 hour days, but here are two shots from the first of these three days. Awww... best friends...
