first encounter with a violin! maclean practices for her recital the next day!
We spent a lot of quality time at Shelly and Blake's house. One of the highlights of the trip for Kevin was going to Maclean and Madelyn's suzuki recital on Saturday morning. The shots above were taken when they were practicing the day before. Can you imagine being able to play the harp at the age of 5 and a half?! I said to Shelly, "Wow. What a pleasant instrument to listen to a child learning!" She replied, "Yes. Even the bad notes sound lovely." Both of the girls did a GREAT job in their recital. It was an honor to attend!

oh oh! are you going to have caroline learn suzuki? I know a great teacher who lives in nashville...how hysterical would that be:)
